Lutalo Projects is a South African based Project Management company that is focused on pooling participants in the construction sector for the purposes of planning, designing, financing, constructing, and operating of physical facilities on behalf of the client. Our approach is to bring together a conglomeration of diverse fields and participants in the construction sector to fulfill a client’s needs in the development of residential housing, schools, clinics, office buildings and industrial buildings, and the restoration of existing commercial infrastructure and other public facilities. We strive to ensure that excessive waste, excessive cost and delays which are as a result of poor coordination and communication among specialists, is avoided at all costs.
We look to fully understand our client’s requirements in conjunction with how the construction industry works – its operating environment and the institutional constraints affecting its activities as well as the nature of project management. In the procurement and construction processes, the delivery of materials and the erection of the project is carefully planned and controlled until the management of the facility is turned over to the owner for full occupancy.
The participation of communities affected by any project is essential at an early stage, to ensure the success of that project.
Community participation is a dynamic and ongoing process based on an accepted community development programme, which must be monitored and maintained throughout all stages of the project.
In addition, where appropriate, this programme should also include the creation of a framework which will capacitate the community during project implementation as well as the operation and maintenance of their newly acquired assets.
